Baptism is one of the first things a believer does to follow Jesus in obedience. It is how a Christian goes public with their faith, declaring to the world that Jesus has purchased their life through his life, death, burial, and resurrection.

At South Side, we love nothing more than to help people follow Jesus and we believe baptism is an essential part. It is an external expression of an inward reality, demonstrating publicly the change that Jesus has brought in a believer’s heart.
