SERVE

Worship

OUR HEART:

Worship is not a simple matter. We were all created to worship our Creator in all of His majesty and splendor. Jesus Christ has made it possible for us to worship, not in a temple made with human hands, but rather to be the temple of the Holy Spirit. The veil of the Holy Place was torn from top to bottom so that we, His chosen people, His royal Priesthood (1 Peter 2:9), could come boldly (Hebrews 4:16) before His throne. We as a church body want to experience to the fullest what Jesus Christ proclaims in John 4:23-24:

“But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

It is our heart's desire to have a corporate worship experience that is completely dependent upon the Lord. We want to be creative in the way we come before His throne. Hymns, contemporary praise choruses, corporate prayer, corporate reading of the Bible, videos, and other means may be introduced at any part of our services to invite the people of God into lives of true worship.
