South Side Baptist Church's Marriage Ministry strives to help couples grow closer to Christ and, in turn, grow closer to each other. We believe that our marriages reflect Christ's love for the church and should be based on biblical principles where Christ is the foundation (Keep God First); there is mutual love & respect; we keep our covenant promises; and we have lots of fun together.

FOUNDATION NEWLY MARRIED MINISTRY
Foundation Groups are for couples who have been married less than four years (3 years or less) to prepare for a lifetime of marital oneness and ministry within the context of Christ-centered community. Foundation Groups consist of 4-6 newly married couples who are led by a married coaching couple for 12-18 months through a set curriculum. During this time they will discuss a range of topics: Community, God’s View of Marriage, Communication & Conflict, Finances, and Intimacy. In the end, it is our hope that couples will establish a solid foundation for their marriage as they grow to be more like Jesus.
*Foundation groups start in September and February if there are enough couples interested.
